Designed and built in 1920 Bonnet House is one of the few complete homes and studios of a recognized American artist open to the public. Nestled among miles of beachfront development are 35 acres of a pristine barrier island system that make up the Bonnet House Estate. Here you can walk where ancient Tequesta Indians, early European settlers, and ship wrecked sailors once roamed You can walk amongst large Paradise Tree, and one of the largest orchid collections in the continental US. You will see Squirrel monkeys, swans, birds, raccoons and an occasional manatee.
