Choose to Start your day kayaking on Biscayne Bay and paddling through mangroves or else biking through more than 14 miles of mountain bike trails available at Oleta River State park. We pride ourselves on offering the best possible gear and safe outings that are suitable for young and old. All the necessary gear for a unique adventure is provided. We will soon start offering kayak fishing clinics from the Blue Marlin fish house.

Discover a large collection of early, original and replicated buildings including an old school, a farm, a blacksmith shop, a general store, and several houses. We also have the only big band museum in the United States, the Sally Bennett Big Band Hall of Fame Museum.

This whimsical estate was the winter retreat of Frederic and Evelyn Bartlett, two artists whose unconventional personal touches are evident throughout the property. Designed and built in 1920 Bonnet House is one of the few complete homes and studios of a recognized American artist open to the public. Nestled among miles of beachfront development are 35 acres of a pristine barrier island system that make up the Bonnet House Estate. Here you can walk where ancient Tequesta Indians, early European settlers, and ship wrecked sailors once roamed You can walk amongst large Paradise Tree, and one of the largest orchid collections in the continental US. You will see Squirrel monkeys, swans, birds, raccoons and an occasional manatee.
